Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
Nestled on the shores of Nottwasaga Bay, in the heart of the beautiful Georgian Triangle, Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church is a Christian Community anchored upon the rock solid foundation of Jesus’ Word and Sacraments.
We are a vibrant and Spirit-filled congregation of believers, called by Christ, gathered around Christ, and serving Christ in Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Thornbury, Stayner, and all parts in-between.
We are a community of believers that lives daily under the Grace that God lavished upon us in Holy Baptism. We take comfort in all the promises of heaven delivered to us by God in our own baptism. We also strive to go forth and Baptize all nations in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, so that all people might know the joys of sins forgiven and the assurances of everlasting life through Jesus.
We are a community that gathers around the Good News of the Holy Gospel as it is proclaimed in the Divine Service, preached in our sermons, and studied in our many Bible classes. It is a message of salvation by God’s grace alone, through Jesus Christ alone, given by His gift of faith alone; that we can’t help but share with everyone in the world!
We are a community of Christians who regularly gather at the Table of our Lord to receive both strength and comfort in His Body and Blood shed for the forgiveness of all sin. In this Holy Supper we are given a foretaste of the great feast that awaits us in heaven, and through it we are encouraged and empowered to live lives of service both here and now.
Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church is Christ’s People: forgiven, cleansed, and encouraged for service BY Jesus and FOR Jesus. Christ IS our Hope and in that hope He has given us a little piece of heaven right here on this side of eternity.

What We Do
Making A Difference
Growing in the Grace and knowledge of our Lord.
God's Word is the foundation upon which rests all that we seek to build and do. We have Bible Study Groups on Sunday mornings. We have small study groups that meet in members homes. We have Studies geared toward men, women and children of all ages. There are plenty of opportunities to Study God's Word both in depth and at a level you are comfortable with.
Giving Back to God what He first gives to us.
Prayer connects us to God and one another, and coming together in prayer and worship gives us the opportunity to receive God's gifts of forgiveness, life and salvation. We meet for prayer weekday mornings, Wednesday evenings in Lent and Advent, on major Christian festivals, and on every Sunday. Guests are always welcome!
Putting Faith and Forgiveness into action.
We firmly believe that as we have received, so shall we give. Our congregation provides many opportunities to serve one another, the community at large and the world around us. Ask us how you can put your gifts to use!
I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all' but whatever I have placed in God's hands, that I still possess."
